Who Really Made China's Terracotta Army?

Who made China's Terracotta Army? These clay soldiers are near Xi'an. Workers made them for China's first emperor over 2,200 years ago. Many people thought most makers were grown men.
Now, researchers have studied 79 fingerprints on 36 soldiers. Fingerprints are the small lines our fingers leave on things. The marks suggest that women and children may have helped too. The team compared the spaces between these lines.
But this is not a full picture. The team studied only a few soldiers. One person could leave many marks. The method also uses information from people today, so the results are not certain. We still cannot know each person's job.
