A ship from South Korea went to Europe by sea. It did not take the usual way south. It went north through the Arctic, a very cold area near the top of Earth. The ship carried large boxes of goods.
It left Busan, a city in South Korea, on August 22. It stopped at three ports in Europe. Then it came home. It reached Busan again on October 11. The whole trip there and back took 50 days. Fifty days was not the time for one way.
South Korean officials say this route may save time on some trips. But ice can slow a ship. Extra costs can also make this way hard to use often.
