Slackliner Crosses Line Between Seoul Buildings

On October 1, Estonian slackliner Jaan Roose crossed a 160-metre line between two buildings in central Seoul, South Korea. The line was about 120 metres above the ground. It was Korea's first urban highline performance.
A slackline is a flat, flexible band, not a hard rope. It can move and sway. Roose used his arms and body to stay steady as he walked across it.
Our bodies also work hard to help us balance. The brain gets signals from the eyes, the inner ear, and muscles. These signals help us know where our body is. If signals do not match, people can feel dizzy.
