Taiwan's Tourism Administration will run a lucky-draw program for eligible foreign independent travelers who have visited Taiwan before. The main prize is NT$5,000 in stored-value spending credit. One accompanying friend or relative may be eligible for a separate NT$3,000 credit.
The program is not open to every traveler. Applicants must hold a non-Taiwan passport, have no Taiwan residence permit and have entered Taiwan at least once since January 1, 2023. They must plan a stay of 3 to 90 days and cannot be joining a travel-agency tour or another subsidized group program.
Registration opens at 10 a.m. Taiwan time on October 1, 2026. Travelers can register from seven to 90 days before arrival. The offer covers eligible travelers entering Taiwan from October 10 through March 31, 2027.
Winners can redeem the credit through designated locations and load it onto an icash 2.0, iPASS or EasyCard for use with participating merchants. The number of winners each week has not yet been announced.
