Smoke from fires in Indonesia has made the air dirty. It has reached other countries. Some schools have closed.
Indonesia is trying something new. Planes will drop dry ice over a smoky area. Dry ice is very cold, frozen gas. Officials hope it will help the smoke rise and move away. They do not yet know if it will work.
The dry ice will not stop the fires. Many fires are still burning. Some burn under the ground and are hard to reach. Indonesia is also trying to make rain to help stop them. For now, clean air is still a big problem.
